No-exam life insurance

Carriers now routinely provide accelerated underwriting: within age and benefit caps, they make decisions from your form, pharmacy records, driving history and similar sources instead of hiring examiners. Approvals may arrive within hours. Each quote tells you: exam required, exam possible, or exam not required.
What it changes
No exam does not mean no scrutiny. Answers get verified, and policies issued based on false information can be challenged in year one and two. The carrier may still request testing if its research raises flags.
Who tends to qualify
Generally applicants below 60 seeking coverage within the carrier's express limit, with clean health and no tobacco for a year-plus qualify. Some carriers take recent physician labs instead of a new exam.
